Mercedes-Benz Trucks have met the EU Emergency Braking System Regulation.

At this year's IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hannover, Germany, the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) granted Daimler AG certification approval for its Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS) under international regulations. Daimler became the first automaker in Europe to receive this certification.
